Whew, it's tiring being a good samaritan!  I've been fixing so many appliances that I've lost count, but if it's for the good of the new world then it's alright by me!  We Al Bhed are helpful people, despite the nasty stereotype we have :(

I do have to wonder why Jecht gets me to fix luxury items more than necessities though.  He's got me fixing up coffee machines, cd players, and even a car!  There are way less banged up cars lying around, but Jecht says that the red convertible is the one the people really need.  I asked him why because it's only got 2 seats and a tiny boot, and he said something about it being cooler.  I guess it does have built-in air con!  Or rather it will when I'm done with it :D

Our little group has been building up quite nicely, with Hope bringing a load of his friends with him. They call themselves Choques, but I'm not sure whether to find them cute or scary.  They seem to always wander around in little groups, and keep ganging up to ask me to mend their iPods and stuff.  I told Jecht they were scary and they seem to have backed off a bit now.  Still, they do bring back a lot of fixable junk, so at least they're helpful!  It's a bit creepy that they come back from expeditions with increasingly bigger weapons and even guns, but I guess it's necessary.  There are fiends everywhere, and they're getting stronger!

Anyway, I'd better get back to finishing this car! Laters! 

Wow, I was nearly a goner!  I was wondering back home, when all of a sudden things got REALLY shaky all of a sudden, and everything started falling down!  I thought that Sin had followed me here and was coming to eat me!  But luckily it wasn't, it was just some crazy big old earthquake that screwed up the city and made buildings fall down everywhere!  I was nearly a pancake, but Jecht came and pulled me away from the building and dragged me towards where all the posh people are, because the buildings weren't breaking quite so much up there.  LUCK-Y!  

So, now we're in the middle of Calamity, hiding out in a makeshift shelter made from one of the less broken buildings.  When I said that the posh district wasn't hit as badly, that means that it's only 90% broken, and not 100% broken.  I managed to fix up a little generator and we're sitting here with some air con, because HOLY COW ITS HOT!  WAAAAY too hot for this time of year.  When I was fixing up the generator, Jecht was looking at me with this weird look on his face, which was a bit creepy, and I thought he was just being a creep - people had told me he's a pervert.  But then he told me that he was impressed at my way with machines - silly Jecht, it's called machina - and that I should start fixing up useful appliances and giving them out to people who need them after the disaster. He's a good guy really, just misunderstood!

I'm totally gonna fix up whatever I can, because people need our help!

Or are people acting really antsy right now?  Cloud's doing this weird thing again where he grips his head and shakes himself to the ground, but this time it's not cuz he forgot to do his taxes or something.

Oh well! Shift's nearly over, I can go home soon! :D

Keep the electrics away from me! I don't want them near me! I read what happens if you put forks in plug sockets, and it is MEAN! And if lightning strikes near a power socket, then everything goes kablooey! I can't risk this, I got hit by a thunder spell in the water once and it HURT! Big time! I gotta unplug everything and turn off the generators! Gotta protect the mall, there's a storm coming. I can just feel it!

...ah, that's better. Nothing like a bit of Al Bhed spedoodling to deal with some mean machina! The generator's down, all the lights in the mall are off, and everybody's safe from electric shocks! I'd better finish this quickly before my laptop battery runs out. Ah, batteries. The way the world intended machina to be powered. Not tethered to nasty, risky power sockets!

It's been a long time since I posted, but work's just been so poopy lately!  I've taken on lots of hours so that I can eventually think about opening a new store!  How cool would that be?  A store run by a 15 year old girl!  Or maybe 14.  I should be 15 by now, but I heard that time kinda stops here and nobody ever ages.  Anyway, I'd be a super entrepeneur and kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'd NEVER run out of gum!  Because I'd have lotsa money! :D  What kind of store will it be, you ask?  You'll just have to wait. and. see! :D  ( Private )


Besides, I'm going crazy here.  Is it me, or do mobile phones vibrating sound more and more like thunder every time I hear them?  It's giving me chills...

Woooo, water!  This is really awesome, it's getting so deep in some areas (almost 3 feet!) that I can just about swim underwater, totally submerged and everything!  Nobody can catch me, I'm like WHOOOOSH and I'm outta there!  Well, until I get to a shallower bit anyway!  Which is mostly outside the store.  It's a small place and it's near an exit where some of the water's all running to, and some just gets caught in the Ringtone House.  It's so cool but the manager doesn't think so.  He's cute and muscly and stuff but he needs to chill out!  He's spending most of his time wrapping his PHS thingy (it's like a normal cellphone but REALLY chunky) in waterproof plastic stuff.  It breaks when it gets wet or something, like ALL THE OTHER THINGS HERE!  Seriously, this never happens with machina!  I helped make this big machina one time, and it's all mechanical and coggy and it drops depth charges and IT WORKS UNDERWATER!  It even produces an air bubble, so someone who can't hold their breath long can go underwater with it just fine!  I don't see why this world uses silly electronics that hate water!  I need to change this, it's like my duty or something to introduce machina to the Chaos World!

I went to Calamity over the weekend, and I found plenty of spare parts lying around like Loz said!  I think most of it was from things that had been broken by vandals and stuff, but nobody had picked it up so finders keepers, right?  I think I might try and make a machina pet to keep me company at work.  Make it less boring!

I've only been here an hour and a half on my first day and I'm already bored out of my mind!  There's no repairs, dismantling or reassembling machina or mobile phones (yeah, go figure!), nothing fun whatsoever!  Just poopy stocktaking and trying to sell people things.  A lot of it isn't even techie!  Who buys phone covers?  It's just a pouch to put phones in, why can't they just make things like that themselves?  It'd be waaaay cheaper too!

Gah, how can people do this kind of thing day in, day out?  It drives me totally nuts already!  Come somebody come in here and say hi, or drop a smoke bomb or something?  Pleeeeeeeease?  It'd totally liven up my day!

Things sure are crazy in the Chaos World!  There's all these towns, there's no Sin, and there's this Chaos Rim thingy beyond the sea where everything is all mega dangerous, and sharks appear in your spaghetti and stuff!  It sounds cool and scary, but low on my list of things to do right now.  I gotta find a job, and a place of my own!  I'm an Al Bhed, a free spirit!  The Steiners are nice and all, but really old fashioned and stuffy, and treat me like some naive little girl.  I'm 15 now and I've handled more grenades than I've had hot dinners!  I can look after myself! :D

But before I can do that, I need a job.  I originally was thinking of working at Wal-Market or McDoned's as it's nice and close, but it seemed to be full of skanky girls wearing next to nothing while serving drooling old men.  Not for me!  I'm not a skank!  I march to the Rikku beat!  Ba-dum, ba-dum-dum, bada-dum-dah!

I can't believe there's no machine shops or anything, I'd be so totally qualified for that!  I guess I'll have to settle for the next best thing... the Ringtone House!  They've got LOADS of those iPhone things that Beatrix had!  Maybe I can get a discount and get her a new one!  Where do I sign up? :D

Things just keep getting weirder and weirder, don't they?  First we find some stowaways who got such a big whiff of Sin's toxin they still think they're from the middle ages or have been to the moon, but now we've found something we haven't even seen before!  A big swirly thingy!  It seems to have loads of power coming from it, so we're gonna check it out.  It could be useful!

I admit I'm a little scared, I mean it's a big unknown swirly thingy!  What are ya supposed to make of that?  The only reason I'm being made to do it is 'cause its underwater, and I'm the best swimmer around.  For real!  Nobody else can beat me in a swimming race!

Oww, why couldn't we have found this tomorrow?  It's my 15th birthday tomorrow, and I bet they wouldn't have made me work on my birthday!  No fair!  

I still don't know exactly what this machina is I took from  the armour lady, but it is AMAAAZING!  Seriously, seen nothing like it!  Well, we've found some similar looking things on the ocean floor, but to find one that actually works?  How cool is that?

I haven't figured it all out yet, but if I'm what I'm thinking is right, then this should post one of those journal thingies that I can find on here!  I've seriously no idea who all these people are, but who cares right?  I'll find out soon enough!  Eww, some of them look weeeird.  Even worse than that rusty guy we've got running in one of the chocobo wheels below deck!
